Our L/AME Courses

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is an aspect of aviation in which we excel; not just through our training facilities and aircraft fleet, but by the sheer depth and scope of experience, expertise and knowledge of our people, from frontline instructors to management and board members.

The Academy’s ab-initio (pre apprenticeship) programmes provide students all theory required for a trade outcome and an industry recognised Civil Aviation Safety Authority aircraft maintenance licence.

ATAE Pty Ltd is the Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 5832) within our group, authorised to provide Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training.

How long is the full Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training Course?

​Our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training Course is 45 weeks plus 2 weeks break.​

What are the regular on-campus study hours?

Classes commence at 8:00am and finish at 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday.​​

Are there flexible tuition fee payment options?

Yes, please enquire for further detail.​

Are there any age restrictions?

The minimum age to commence the course is 16 years. There is no official maximum but good physical and mental health would be essential.​​

Do you offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?

​If you have experience in the industry and need a qualification or want to upgrade your existing qualification(s), we can provide you with RPL toward a number of aircraft maintenance engineer qualifications.​

Do you offer apprenticeship services?

​If you’re looking for an aircraft maintenance engineer apprentice or want to sign one up, we are a nationally recognised Supervising Registered Training Organisation (SRTO) for Apprentices completing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering qualifications.​
